Our process for drywall repairs:
Our skilled handymen take great care to ensure you are satisfied with your drywall repair projects. This includes providing and maintaining a clean work area, quality craftsmanship, and treating you and your home with the utmost respect.
- The first thing we do is prepare the work area. We place tarps or plastic to protect your floors and larger items. Smaller items are moved out of the way. Depending on the location and/or size of your project, we may use zip-wall systems to contain any mess.
- Next, we’ll prepare the drywall repair. Damaged areas are cut out and supports are added, where needed.
- Finally, we begin the drywall repair by hanging new drywall, taping it and applying the first coat of spackle.
- We usually return for additional trips to allow the spackle proper dry time and apply second and third coats of spackle.
- Finally, we will sand the finish coat and if requested we will prime and paint the area.
- Before we call it complete, we will remove the plastic and tarps and sweep or vacuum the area.
